Get in those last sweat sessions before Christmas!
After days of waiting, we finally have clarification that classes can resume from this week (or next week in our case) with no cap on numbers but continuing the distancing requirements.
What does this mean for us?
It means that numbers will be as they were before this lockdown, up to a maximum of 12 to allow for plenty of spacing.
As we are in tier 2, it does mean you must not gather with anyone who is not in your household or bubble before, during or after a class. It also means that you will need to wear a face mask while entering, exiting or moving around the hall (such as using the toilet). Your face covering is only to be removed for exercise.
So, what happens next?
I will be re-activating all memberships this evening to allow you all to book. Please do log in as soon as you can and look at how many sessions and what time period you have left. As we only have two weeks before the Christmas break, I want you to get as many of your classes as possible. If you find you won't make use of the classes, it may be worth cancelling your monthly membership before it renews and moving to weekly until we return in January. There will be 8 classes available before the break.
Tuesday outdoor classes will be on hold for a while due to the very dark evenings, so I will be taking them off the timetable for now. But there are still four classes a week for you with the two new ones. However, I will still be arranging walks for anyone who is interested in joining and doesn't mind the dark and mud. 😂
Anyone who already on a Gold or 2 membership, or with a standalone online subscription, will continue to have access over the Christmas period, and while I had said I wouldn't continue uploads, I have decided I will as I know it has been very useful for some of you and will hopefully help bridge the gap over Christmas. Anyone who was granted online access because of lockdown will get an email shortly of it being cancelled so your normal membership can resume.
